Our Baby's all Growd up

So our family resolution this year was to get Savannah Sleeping in her own crib. Yes, till the first of the month she has been sleeping in between Juris and I. Luckily we have a king sized bed, so It wasn't that bad. Im sure Juris Disagrees. As of last night, she is now sleeping in her own crib, and thru the night. Just under two weeks. Not bad if I do say so myself. Now all we need to do is Just move her crib out of our room. Baby Steps.

I know! My bed is my sactuary, I know I can't spell... I was really anxious when she was finally moved to her own room, at 6 months, even though she wasn't any futher away from us, there was just a wall between... it was still rough.

Haha thats funny...baby steps.

We tried co-sleeping, but the funny thing is we had the "co" part, but never the "sleep" part from Nathan Jr. Every hour 1/2 he'd wake up & wouldn't go back to sleep unless I nursed him when he was younger. What a nightmare that was until he started sleeping through the night at 8 1/2months old.

Were you afraid of her falling off the bed as she got older? Did she wake up a lot? Go back to sleep fast? Does she go back to sleep in her crib when she see's you guys? Sorry for all the questions. Thats awesome for you. I know its must be hard to let her go! Sad. She's still your baby!

I kind of wish I could sleep with my baby still, but I wouldn't get any sleep even now that he's older. So interesting how every child is different. Well before you know it, it will be Toddler Bed Time! Right? I'm still fearing the day Nate JR. climbs out of his crib. Everyone says its inevitable, so I've cleared the ground of "Ouchy" toys.

Well good luck with this! Sounds like shes being so mild & sweet about the transition!

I also think a marriage needs a childless bed... if you know what I mean. Talk about killing the mood!

No erika, You Just get more creative.
And we all slept fine till she started get so big and taking up all our space. We put up with it longer than we wanted to because I had the hard time. I hardly slept the firdt ffew night we put her in her crib. I would always worry she would get cold or wake up and think we werent there. Typically first child Syndrome, I guess.

I'd be afraid of suffocating her, or pushing/kicking her off the bed, but I'm paranoid, I know the statistics aren't that high... as to the "mood"... sure it's do-able... I just don't get how you can not wake 'em up or not land on them or something, that sounds kind of wierd but you know what I mean!

Ewww You can do that kinda stuff with the baby in the bed! Not even in the same room. IM talking the places got creative. I guess were not to creative though, because after ten months of trying, were still not pregnant... so.
